	The Valley of Dreams is located 1.5 mi south of the King of Wings and belongs to the Ah Shi Sle Pah Wilderness. Some attribute it to the Bisti Badlands, which is wrong. In any case, the way there is important - see below. The approach to junction 8 is possible with a normal car, after that, on the jeep track, a 4WD with HC is indispensable.

From Farmington

Coming from Walmart in Farmington
Hwy. 371 46.3 mi south.
There (junction 1) turn left into sandy road 7650
and follow this about 7.7 mi.
At junction 2 turn right onto 7870,
which we follow again for about 6.5 mi.
After 5,5 mi from junction 2 we past a wind wheel.
Approx. 1.2 mi after the wind wheel, turn left onto
a jeep track (junction 3).
We follow this road about 2 mi down into the valley,
cross the flat and wide wash (point 4)
and turn 1500 ft to the left in the bend
to the edge of the red hill.
From here go on foot to the west,
about 1 mi to the formations.
If the wash is too wet, park in front of it
and migrate from there.


	Here's another tip for people who want to visit the Valley of Dreams and the Ah Shi Sle Pah Wilderness. That's quite simple: at junction 8 do not turn left into the Jeep lane, but stay on road 7870 for another 2 mi to point 10. There you reach Road 57, which you follow 3 mi to the left.
